What You'll Do:
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Specialist to manage and optimize enterprise-level storage systems, VMware virtualization platforms, backup solutions, and server installations. This role is critical for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our IT infrastructure across a large-scale enterprise environment.The ideal candidate demonstrates a high level of resilience, takes full ownership of tasks, and leverages automation to improve efficiency and reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Implement, configure, and maintain enterprise storage solutions
- ManageVMware environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter, and virtual machines
- Plan and execute server installations, configurations and upgrades
- Administer and optimize Veeam Backup and Replication environments to ensure data integrity and availability
- Implement automation for routine tasks, deployments, and system monitoring to increase efficiency
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability
- Maintain disaster recovery strategies and documentation
- Collaborate with Network, Security, and Application teams to ensure seamless integration
- Perform capacity planning and performance tuning for storage and virtualization environments
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies and industry best practices
- Take ownership of assigned projects and deliverables, ensuring timely and high-quality execution
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide escalation support for critical incidents
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise IT environments focusing on storage, VMware administration, and backup solutions
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for tasks and projects
- Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter
- Expertise in backup technologies (Veeam)
- Hands-on experience with SAN and storage systems (e.g., HPE Alletra)
- Experience with automation tools and PowerShell scripting
- Windows and Linux server installation and administration experience is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and execution
- Relevant certifications (VMware VCP, VeeamVMCE, HPE
