Job Summary

Full-time Remote Position
Expert eCommerce Product Content Writer & Content

Strategist

Exceptional proficiency in writing and proofreading English

content

Heavy focus on AI-based content generation and refinement
Must be able to eventually own their work: think critically,

improve processes, strategize, prioritize, coordinate, and be accountable

for content—not just an “order taker” requiring constant direction and

proofreading.

Key Responsibilities:

Write new product content using AI tools such as ChatGPT and

Copy.ai

Analyze available product information to create accurate

product copy

Review existing content for optimization and enhancement

opportunities

Work within Salsify and SharePoint to leverage existing data

and content

Review new product documentation to ensure content accuracy
Support miscellaneous content-related projects, including:
Assisting with Enhanced Content initiatives (combining product

content and images via a DAM)

Tagging images in the DAM (Collage)
Coordinating sale and promotional copy
Updating Amazon Store Pages
Supporting SEO projects (e.g., updating Amazon titles,

generating SEO keywords via AI, creating meta titles, etc.)

Provide support for any additional content-related tasks,

including text, images, decks, videos, enhanced content, creative assets, etc.

Must-Haves:

Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated content and

effectively use AI tools (ChatGPT, Copy.ai) to enhance efficiency and
quality

Ability to effectively download, organize, and process

content/data in Excel.

Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify optimal

execution methods

Proven expertise in product content writing and content strategy
Excellent English communication and comprehension skills
Strong proficiency in MS Word and Excel
Strong self-documentation skills (e.g., recording

content-related decisions for future reference and process integration)

High adaptability and a proactive, can-do attitude (Simpli Home

Long-term commitment preferred (due to significant training

investment and the desire for team stability)

Availability to work 9am–6pm Eastern Time (with potential for

flexibility upon regularization)

Good-to-Have:

Hands-on experience with retailer Enhanced Content and

knowledge of eCommerce content standards and regulations

Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) and

Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems

Experience using Asana or other project management tools
Experience using SharePoint
