QA Tester
About the role
WeSupport, Inc.' is seeking a talented QA Tester to join our team on a contract basis. As a QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge software products. Working from our office in Makati City Metro Manila, you will be responsible for executing comprehensive test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with our development team to optimize the user experience.
What you'll be doing- Develop and execute detailed test cases to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of our software applications
- Identify, document, and track software defects using our issue-tracking system
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve reported issues
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the overall quality of our codebase
- Automate repetitive testing tasks to improve efficiency and consistency
- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies and technologies to continuously improve our testing processes
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in an Agile environment
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, principles, and best practices
- Proficiency in writing clear and comprehensive test cases and bug reports
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress)
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Must be willing to go ONSITE for INTERVIEW and EXAM.
