Job Description

• Python 3.11 functions, classes, exceptions, and standard library.
• Able to read and modify existing Flask apps (routes, request/response, g, session).
• Flask 2.3.3
• Basic understanding of routes, templates, before_request, blueprints, and Flask extensions.
• Familiarity with Flask-Login
• Awareness of Flask-WTF and CSRF.
• Back-end data
• SQLAlchemy read/write with models with Postgres
• Flask-Migrate / Alembic
• Jinja2 conditionals, loops, includes, and passing data from views to templates.
• HTML/CSS: semantic HTML and layout; Tailwind CSS for utility classes and simple responsive layout.
• JavaScript: DOM, fetch, form handling, and basic async
• Use REST APIs GET/POST, headers, JSON.
• Basic idea of OAuth 2
• Git clone, branch, commit, push, pull; basic merge/conflict handling.
• Has idea how to use environments and toolings (.env, flask run, venv, pip install -r requirements.txt)
• Nice to have cloud and deployment experience, xero api
• Detail-oriented, curios, reliable and able to work independently

• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Technology, or any related field.
• With at least one (1) year of relevant work experience in software or web application development (fresh graduates with strong internship or project experience may apply).
• Proficient in Python 3 and knowledgeable in object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience working with Flask framework, including routes, templates, request/response cycle, and blueprints.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with Tailwind CSS is an advantage.
• Familiar with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and ORM tools like SQLAlchemy.
• Knowledgeable in RESTful API integration (GET/POST, JSON handling).
• Familiar with Git version control (clone, commit, branch, merge).
• Basic understanding of authentication, session management, and security practices (CSRF, OAuth2 is a plus).
• Experience with Flask extensions such as Flask-Login, Flask-WTF, and Flask-Migrate/Alembic is an advantage.
• Knowledge of environment setup and tools (.env, virtual environments, pip, requirements.txt).
• Experience in cloud deployment and third-party API integration (e.g., Xero API) is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently or within a team.
• With good communication skills and a strong willingness to learn.
