PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Location : Tac-an Road, Talamban, Cebu City
Work schedule : 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Thursday; 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Friday

We are looking for a results-driven Product Development Manager to lead the development of custom wood furniture from customers.
This role is responsible for creating accurate CAD drawings, preparing product costing and technical documentation, and working closely with Production to ensure customer samples and new products are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and are ready for mass production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and monitor all product development activities to ensure customer sample deadlines, project milestones, and production schedules are achieved.
- Lead the Product Development Department in converting customer sketches, photos, and concepts into accurate CAD drawings while ensuring sample development is closely monitored and timely updates are communicated to all concerned departments.
- Prepare, review, and approve product drawings, specifications, Bills of Materials (BOM), costing information, and other technical documents to ensure accuracy and completeness before release to production.
- Manage multiple product development projects simultaneously, ensuring quality standards, cost targets, and delivery schedules are consistently met.
- Work closely with Production, Purchasing, and Quality teams to resolve technical issues, optimize product designs for manufacturability, and ensure a smooth transition from development to mass production.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Product Development team by providing technical guidance, setting performance expectations, and fostering continuous improvement in productivity and technical capability.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective actions to ensure customer
- Ensure compliance with company standards, customer specifications, safety requirements, and applicable manufacturing procedures.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Architecture, Furniture Design, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in wood furniture product development, including proven experience in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proficient in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing feasibility, quality standards, and production processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
