About the role
As a WTG Inspector (with GWO Certification) at Bureau Veritas S.A.', you will be responsible for conducting inspections and maintenance on wind turbine generators (WTGs) in Laguna, Calabarzon. This is a full-time position that requires expertise in the mining, resources and energy sector, specifically in wind turbine engineering and maintenance.
What you'll be doing- Conducting comprehensive inspections of wind turbine generators to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently
- Identifying and reporting any mechanical, electrical or structural issues with the WTGs
- Performing routine maintenance tasks such as lubricating components, replacing worn parts and cleaning turbine blades
- Providing detailed inspection reports and recommendations for remedial work
- Collaborating with the engineering and maintenance teams to address any identified problems
- Adhering to all health, safety and environmental protocols
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a WTG inspector or in a similar role within the mining, resources and energy sector
- Possession of a valid Global Wind Organisation (GWO) certification
- Strong technical knowledge of wind turbine generator systems and components
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Good written and verbal communication skills to prepare detailed inspection reports
- Willingness to work in a field-based environment and adhere to safety protocols
