The IT Specialist for Business Applications and Productivity Tools will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, optimization, and support of Atticus’ core business applications and cloud-based productivity tools. This includes Google Workspace, Monday.com, HubSpot, Slack, Zoom, DocuSign, and other business-critical SaaS platforms.

The Specialist will ensure that these tools are properly configured, maintained, and supported, allowing teams to work efficiently and securely. The role focuses on hands-on application management, access control, troubleshooting, and user support, while contributing to system improvements and integrations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Application Management & Administration
  • Configure and customize tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Monday.com, HubSpot) to meet business needs.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, escalating to vendors when necessary.
  • Perform regular updates and ensure systems remain aligned with business processes.
  1. Access, Identity & License Management
  • Create and manage user accounts, roles, and permissions.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding processes and ensure access is updated promptly.
  • Track license usage and report on inactive/unused accounts.
  1. Application Integration
  • Assist in maintaining system integrations between platforms (Google Workspace, HubSpot, Monday.com, Slack, etc.).
  • Support workflow automations using tools like Zapier, Make, or Power Automate.
  1. Application Inventory & Lifecycle Support
  • Maintain accurate application inventory records, including licensing and ownership.
  • Support evaluations for tool upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning.
  1. Training & User Support
  • Provide end-user support and resolve application-related issues.
  • Develop basic training materials, FAQs, and guides to help staff use applications effectively.
  1. Governance, Compliance & Best Practices
  • Follow IT policies for data security, retention, and usage.
  • Ensure tools are used in compliance with company standards and applicable regulations.
  1. Reporting & Optimization
  • Monitor application usage and prepare simple reports on adoption, performance, and opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Provide recommendations for improving user experience and tool effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in administering and supporting SaaS business applications.
  • Hands-on experience in cloud-based productivity tools such as Google Workspace, Monday.com, HubSpot, Slack, Zoom, and DocuSign.
  • Exposure to workflow automation tools and basic integration platforms is an advantage.
  • Proficient in SaaS administration and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with APIs, SSO, and identity management platforms (Okta, Google Identity, Azure AD) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SaaS governance, license management, and compliance standards preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Process-oriented, detail-driven, and organized.
  • Able to create clear documentation and train users.
Certifications (Optional, Advantageous)
  • Google Workspace Admin Certification
  • HubSpot Academy Certifications
  • ITIL Foundation or equivalent IT service management credential
Working Conditions
