Production Supervisor (Process Engineer)

Job Objective:

• To optimize and improve manufacturing processes within the food manufacturing industry.
• To analyze current processes, identify areas for improvement, implement efficiency measures, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• To enhance productivity, reduce waste, and maintain consistent product quality.

Task Lists:

• Conduct a thorough analysis of existing manufacturing processes.
• Identify areas within the processes for improvement and efficiency enhancement.
• Develop comprehensive strategies to optimize production efficiency.
• Implement cost-effective measures to reduce operational costs without compromising quality.
• Collaborate with the Production Team to ensure seamless integration of optimization strategies.

• Work closely with the Quality Control team to understand quality standards and requirements.
• Establish and implement quality control measures to monitor and ensure consistent product quality.
• Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with the Quality Control team to address any deviations from quality standards promptly.
• Implement corrective actions to enhance overall quality assurance processes.

• Initiate and lead continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input for improvement opportunities.
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance overall operational effectiveness.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of implemented improvements on efficiency and waste reduction.
• Conduct regular reviews to identify additional areas for continuous improvement.

• Provide technical support to production teams during regular operations.
• Address and troubleshoot any process-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Maintenance and Quality Assurance, to resolve technical challenges.
• Develop and conduct training sessions for production teams on new processes and technologies.
• Implement preventive measures to enhance overall process reliability.

• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies related to process engineering.
• Collaborate with Research and Development teams to assess and implement new technologies.
• Participate in regular meetings with cross-functional teams to exchange information and updates.
• Actively engage in professional development activities to stay current with advancements in process engineering.
• Commitment to Quality and Food Safety policy.
• May perform other relevant tasks as may be reasonably required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, Manufacturing Engineeing or a related field.
• At least two (2) years of experience in process engineering within the food manufacturing industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing end-to-end production processes.
• In-depth knowledge of food manufacturing processes, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Familiarity with quality standards, food safety regulations, BRCGS/ FSSC and HACCP principles.
