JOB SUMMARY:

  • The Merchandising Assistant is primarily responsible for assisting the Merchandising team with administrative and clerical tasks, including data entry, related to specific merchandising tasks. S/he is expected to provide administrative support in various merchandising-related projects to keep the merchandising process streamlined, effective, and efficient.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Assist the Merchandising team in any merchandising-related task
  2. Coordinating with cross-functional teams, such as Logistics, Marketing and Operations, to ensure that projects are completed on time
  3. Assisting in preparing reports and analysis. This may include compiling sales data, analyzing trends and creating reports to assist the merchandising team in making informed decisions.
  4. Collecting customer feedback about products and services offered in the store to improve customer satisfaction and increase sales
  5. Additional projects supporting the Merchandising team

BUYING:

  1. Assists the Merchandising Manager and Buyers in order consolidation and encoding.
  2. Assists in the pre-buying preparations by compiling data such as size profile per silhouette, sales per door, category, etc.
  3. Enters purchase orders into appropriate systems in an accurate and timely manner.
INVENTORY, DELIVERIES & SHIPMENT
  1. Prepares the refill and consolidation file for any approved stock movement
  2. Liaise with our partner freight forwarder for all incoming shipments and ensure that all shipping documents are complete and will be delivered on time.
  3. Coordinates the delivery schedule to all stores

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (skills, knowledge, etc.):

  1. Communicates clearly, both written and oral
  2. Highly organized and must have great attention to detail and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Training:

Graduate of 4-Year Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Management

Work Experience:

Atleast two-year experience in the same field or industry
