Inventory Management Staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and record inventory levels of supplies, materials, or products in storage areas.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders or invoices.
• Update inventory databases or systems to reflect stock movements (inbound and outbound).
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of items according to inventory control standards.
• Coordinate with departments for supply requests and issue items based on approved requisitions.
• Alert supervisors on low stock levels or items nearing expiration and initiate restocking procedures.
• Assist in preparing inventory reports for audits, budgeting, or management review.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in storage areas and observe proper safety practices.
• Assist in disposal or return of damaged, expired, or defective inventory items.
• Implement and comply with inventory control policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience in inventory control, warehouse, or supply chain operations is preferred
• Familiarity with inventory management systems or software
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in MS Excel or spreadsheet tools for inventory tracking
• Good communication and coordination abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
