Role Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and imaginative designer who can bring our brand to life across digital and print channels. This person will play a hands-on role in crafting visually impactful assets—from eye-catching EDMs and social media graphics to refined packaging and sales collateral.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the nuances of brand consistency, and can translate marketing objectives into standout creative. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through design, you’ll help ensure every touchpoint reflects the bold personality and premium quality of the brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Brand Identity & Graphic Design
- Maintain the brand’s identity and visual voice while contributing to its evolution. This includes updating existing wine labels to convey personality, quality, and compliance, as well as assisting in the development and design of new labels. Ensure the tone, personality, and visual flair of the brand are reflected across all touchpoints by maintaining and evolving brand guidelines.
- Marketing Collateral & Sales Tools
- Design and refresh marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, posters, and POS materials, ensuring that both the internal team and third-party network have access to the most up-to-date and relevant content. Create digital graphics for social media, email campaigns, and website banners to support ongoing marketing efforts.
- Email Marketing & Campaign Execution
- Design visually compelling EDMs that align with brand guidelines and follow best-in-class design and layout principles. Provide creative design and workflow support for campaign setup and execution.
- Sales & Event Support
- Design invitations, signage, and collateral for events such as tastings and trade shows. Support trade marketing initiatives with materials like wine lists, sell sheets, and promotional content. Collaborate with the events team to create standout branded materials for member events.
- Website & Digital Design
- Design and maintain website assets, including product pages and recipe content. Work closely with web developers and the marketing team to ensure that both design and UX are optimized. Manage ongoing content updates and apply SEO best practices where applicable.
- System Oversight
- Oversee the use of various platforms including Klaviyo for EDM creation and automation, Commerce7 for CRM, POS, reservations, and SKU setup, WordPress for website updates and content management, Dropbox for digital asset management, and Asana for project management.
- Design, write, and format tasting notes, order forms, and the Flock Journal publication. Set up product SKUs, campaigns, and offers in Commerce7 as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Graphic design skills: typography, layout, composition, branding
- Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop essential)
- Strong digital literacy and copywriting skills
- Web based CMS platform experience (WordPress preferred)
- CRM system knowledge (Commerce7 preferred)
- Demonstrated experience with project management software (Asana preferred)
- Attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Understanding of SEO and Google Analytics
- Familiarity with print production processes
- Trade marketing fundamentals and point-of-sale design
