About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team at Firstar Airconditioning INC' in Bacoor City Cavite. As Accounting Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our accounting processes.

What you'll be doing

Supervising and managing the accounting team to ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner
Preparing and reviewing financial reports, statements, and analyses to support decision-making
Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, policies, and regulations
Developing and implementing efficient accounting procedures and controls
Collaborating with other departments to provide financial information and insights
Training and mentoring junior members of the accounting team
Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience in an accounting supervisory role, preferably within the government or local council sector
Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulatory requirements
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data
Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
Demonstrable leadership abilities and a talent for team management
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
