The Gypsum Board Installer is responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing gypsum boards (drywall) on walls, ceilings, and other surfaces in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings. This role ensures high-quality finishes, accurate alignment, and compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
Qualifications/Requirements
Elementary or High school graduate or equivalent; vocational training in construction is an advantage.Proven experience as a gypsum board installer or drywall worker.
Knowledge of gypsum board installation techniques and finishing methods.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings.
Physically fit and able to lift, carry, and position heavy boards.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
