Job Description:BLS Pets is seeking a detail-oriented and bilingual Accounting Manager (Mandarin and English) to join our team on a part-time contractor basis via IPG. In-house accounting experience is highly preferred, particularly in managing vendor and client financial communications, invoice tracking, and reconciliation.
The role is remote, with a preference for candidates based on the U.S. West Coast for time zone alignment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage vendor and client financial coordination, including invoice issuance and reconciliation.
- Track and process accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Handle monthly billing processes, including statement preparation and documentation.
- Oversee and coordinate IRS tax filings and assist with audit preparation.
- Identify and resolve issues related to lost payment tracking or miscommunication with vendors and clients.
- Collaborate with domestic (China-based) teams on financial processes and documentation requests.
- Proactively improve processes to ensure clear, timely, and accurate reporting.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with in-house experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, invoice management, and reconciliation processes.
- Experience working with vendors and customers on payment and billing issues.
- Familiarity with IRS regulations, tax filings, and audit preparation.
- Professional fluency in both English and Mandarin is preferred due to frequent communication with domestic and international teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Based in the U.S. West Coast time zone for better coordination.
- Previous experience working with cross-border teams, especially with China-based finance teams.
