ACCOUNTING MANAGER

• Lead and supervise the accounting team, ensuring accurate and efficient completion of all accounting functions.
• Mentor, train, and develop accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Delegate accounting tasks and ensure proper resource allocation within the team.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Proficient in QuickBooks
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly and in a timely manner.
• Review journal entries and ensure that they are accurately posted and compliant with accounting standards.
• Assist in the preparation of the company’s annual budget and financial forecasts.
• Provide input into financial planning and help monitor actual performance against budget, offering insights and recommendations as needed.
• Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws, accounting regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
• Coordinate and prepare for external audits, working closely with auditors to provide requested information and ensure audit compliance.
• Oversee cash flow management, ensuring the company maintains adequate liquidity to meet financial obligations.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable, and manage working capital effectively.
• Track and analyze company expenditures, ensuring they align with the budget and financial goals.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations for improving financial efficiency.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, such as profitability analysis, variance analysis, and cost analysis.
• Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards to senior management, providing insights into financial performance and operational efficiency.
• Continuously review and streamline accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Implement best practices for financial operations, accounting workflows, and reporting standards.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy with CPA (Certified Public Accountant) licensed.
• A minimum of 5–10 years of experience in accounting or finance, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), tax laws, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and offer solutions.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and staff development skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders clearly and effectively.
• Ability to think critically and provide practical financial solutions to operational challenges.
