Application Engineer - Workday Payroll

You will be responsible for supporting, configuring, and improving Workday and related business applications. Your tasks may include:

• Serve as a subject matter expert in Payroll Workday or other Workday modules such as:
• Benefits
• Compensation
• Talent Management
• Absence Management
• Time Tracking
• Integrations
• Security
• Data Conversion
• Support the full software development lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Configure, customize, and support enterprise applications and integrations with internal systems such as SAP
• Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions
• Update and enhance existing applications and code when needed
• Understand business processes and translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
• Work closely with Agile/DevOps teams using methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe
• Provide daily operational and production support for applications and interfaces
• Monitor system performance, data loads, integrations, and security access
• Communicate proactively regarding production issues, incidents, and project updates
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and collaborate with software engineers and team members
• Create and maintain technical and support documentation
• Ensure systems and software comply with IP and security standards
