Service Advisor

The Service Advisor – Trucks & Heavy Equipment serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department. This role is responsible for managing service requests, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring timely and efficient servicing of trucks and heavy equipment.
The Service Advisor ensures excellent customer service, accurate documentation, and smooth workflow within the service center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist clients with service needs related to trucks and heavy equipment
- Record customer concerns and generate accurate service job orders
- Coordinate with mechanics and technicians to diagnose issues and plan repairs
- Prepare and explain service estimates, timelines, and recommendations to clients
- Monitor repair progress and provide regular updates to customers
- Handle warranty claims, service contracts, and ensure proper documentation
- Ensure parts availability in coordination with the parts department
- Maintain detailed records of services performed, costs, and customer feedback
- Conduct post-service follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction
- Promote preventive maintenance and service packages to clients
Qualifications:
- High school graduate; vocational or technical course in automotive/heavy equipment is an advantage
- At least 1–2 years experience in a service advisor or related role in trucks/heavy equipment
- Good understanding of mechanical systems in trucks and heavy machinery (e.g., loaders, excavators, dump trucks)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Customer-focused with problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of service workflow, job order systems, and basic computer applications
- Holder of a Professional Driver’s License is an advantage
