Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Travel Consultant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will manage client travel needs, including bookings, itinerary planning, and travel documentation. This role also involves handling escalations, directly communicating with passengers to resolve issues and provide alternative travel options when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Handle travel inquiries and provide expert advice on destinations, transportation, accommodations, and travel requirements.Book flights, hotels, transfers, and tour packages based on client preferences and budget.
Manage escalated cases, communicate directly with passengers, and provide practical travel solutions and options.
Provide accurate information on travel regulations, visas, insuranceCreate customized travel itineraries ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Manage client reservations and resolve booking issues or changes promptly.
Upsell travel packages and services to maximize customer satisfaction and company revenue.
Maintain updated knowledge of travel trends, promotions, and industry regulations.
Coordinate with suppliers, airlines, and other partners for smooth travel arrangements.
Handle payments and issue official receipts while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Prepare travel reports and maintain organized client records.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience as a Travel Consultant or in a similar role within the travel industry.
Experience in handling escalations and passenger communications is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) is an advantage.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple client requests efficiently.
Proficient in MS Office and other online booking platforms.
