Customer service assistant - Muntinlupa

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Customer Service Assistant to join our team at HONOUR LANE LOGISTICS PHILIPPINES, INC.' in our Intramuros Manila City, Metro Manila office. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and support to our valued clients.

Job responsibilities:

• Responding to customer inquiries and requests promptly and professionally via phone, email, and other communication channels
• Acknowledge new booking with agents and/or shippers promptly.
• Create and manage bookings in the ERP system.
• Advise agents and/or shippers on booking details (including CPA updates for agents).
• Coordinate with the Operations team ("Booking Dept") once the agent confirms the carrier.
• Ensure sales memos approved before the vessel departure.
• Handling FMC filing for A trade lanes (excluding agent's service contracts).
• Prepare Freight Notes for A trade shipments.
• Follow up with shippers on payment of local charges.
• Send telex release HBL to agents and shippers.
• Resolving customer issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Continuously improving customer service processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor 's degree in Customs Administration, Logistics or related field (preferred).
• Experience in freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics operations.
• Knowledge of FCM filing and international shipping documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer services
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or administrative role.
