Engineering manager

Job Description

• To provide a set up for production department and to supervise/manage production line employees, workers and personnel;
• To assist in drafting of internal work procedures, guidelines and policies relating to production;
• To conduct monthly assessment and make a monthly report to the General Manager/President with regards to production operation; and
• To ensure proper implementation of the corporate policies and standards in production.

• Degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering or any related field.
• Must have more than 5 years work experience in the manufacturing sector as production manager in a textile company.
• Must have experience in trouble shooting machines specifically auto pressing machine, electrical pressing machine & die-cut machine;
• must have excellent communication skills. Can interpret, speak and communicate well using Mandarin language.
• Leadership skills
• Ability to think independently and problem-solve to achieve optimal results
• Good time Management and highly organized initiative – taker who can self-direct and self-prioritize work with the ability to pivot as needed.
• Strategic planning skills and natural ability to resolve production issues quickly.
