What You'll Do:

As a member of the Global IT Team, the IT Project Manager will lead complex project activities in IT Infrastructure services. This role requires a deep understanding of SYNLAB's business and IT infrastructure, and the ability to manage multiple projects and demands from international teams.

• Project Management: Oversee the management, planning, control, and documentation of projects of varying sizes and complexities in an international environment.
• Business Demand Evaluation: Ensure business demands are evaluated with all affected organizations to define timelines, budgets, and effort estimates. Initiate new projects to meet business needs.
• Team Coordination: Confidently control and moderate geographically distributed project teams. Coordinate, document, and assign tasks, providing direction and support. Assign resources to projects and monitor progress.
• Project Results: Responsible for project outcomes in terms of time, quality, and budget. Plan and develop strategies, including defining goals and timelines.
• ServiceNow Expertise: Utilize detailed knowledge of ServiceNow, particularly the Demand Management and Project Management modules, to track projects efficiently using resource management, task execution, and financial management tools.
• Reporting: Create reports and present results to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Manage and communicate ongoing changes in tasks, goals, or performance.
• Technical Clarification: Clarify technical details with teams and customers, developing efficient solutions.
• Problem Solving: Identify problems during project execution and provide solutions, implementing changes as necessary to ensure project timelines are followed and goals are reached.
• Resource Allocation: Allocate team members to project tasks, balance technical requirements with project timelines and budgets, and manage team workload.

What We're Looking For:

• Degree in (business) computer science, business administration, or a comparable qualification.
• At least 10 years of experience in IT project management.
• Good knowledge of IT infrastructure (network, firewalls, Windows server, virtualization) with a proven track record of managing IT projects.
• Analytical mind with a structured and solution-oriented approach to work
• Strong Project Management skills specifically stakeholder management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow and other project management tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment.
