About the Role

We are seeking a Software Quality Engineer I with strong experience in Tricentis Tosca, API Testing, and Automation Testing to support enterprise-grade web applications and backend services. This role will be responsible for ensuring software quality through automated and manual testing across modern web technologies, RESTful APIs, and cloud-based applications within an Agile environment.

The ideal candidate enjoys building automation, validating APIs, executing end-to-end testing, and collaborating closely with developers to deliver reliable, high-quality software.

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca.
• Perform API Testing for RESTful services using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Execute Functional, Regression, Integration, System, Smoke, and End-to-End Testing across web applications and backend services.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on business and technical requirements.
• Validate API responses, JSON payloads, authentication, and backend data integrity.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using Jira or similar defect management tools.
• Work closely with Software Engineers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Support automation initiatives by expanding regression automation coverage and improving testing efficiency.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing standards, automation frameworks, and software quality processes.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in Software Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Automation Testing.
• Hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca.
• Strong experience in API Testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Experience performing Automation Testing and Manual Testing.
• Strong understanding of Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and End-to-End Testing.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent defect management tools.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

• Experience testing applications built with Java, Spring Framework, or React.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, Swagger/OpenAPI, and JWT Authentication.
• Experience validating backend data using SQL.
• Exposure to cloud-based applications, CI/CD pipelines, or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of enterprise software development and modern automation practices.
