Dispensing pharmacist

About the role

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.

What you'll be doing:

• Accurately and efficiently dispensing prescription medications to patients, ensuring appropriate dosages and monitoring for potential interactions or adverse effects
• Providing patients with counselling and education on their medications, including proper usage, potential side effects, and storage requirements
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes
• Maintaining comprehensive patient records and ensuring compliance with all relevant pharmaceutical regulations and standards
• Actively participating in the ongoing development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures
• Promoting the overall health and wellbeing of patients through the provision of evidence-based pharmaceutical advice and support

What we're looking for:

• A valid Pharmacist license and registration with the relevant regulatory body
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Dispensing Pharmacist in a community or hospital setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and team members
• Strong clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills to assess medication needs, identify potential issues, and provide appropriate recommendations
• A commitment to providing the highest quality of pharmaceutical care and upholding professional ethics and standards
• Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and other relevant technology
