Your Role as a Financial Planning Manager:

  • Review business performance with various local functions and the Group Finance
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly business reports for Management and Group Finance
  • Responsible for the development of the business plan, forecast, and budget.
  • Collect relevant information and provide financial data to the business owners for decision-making.
  • Work with business partners to identify appropriate metrics to track and evaluate business performance (e.g., business cases, feasibility study, etc.).
  • Provide strategic support in preparing the quarterly board and financial presentations for the top management.
  • Providing insightful analytics on actual financial performance and how this compares with the latest forecast, budget, and last year's figures.
  • Monitor the actual vs budget expenditures of each department and cooperate with them regarding the possible reasons for the variances. Give recommendations.
  • Work closely with the accounting team on all accounting-related matters.

WHO YOU ARE:

Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field is typically required.

Advanced Degree (Preferred): An MBA or a master’s degree in finance or a related field can be advantageous.

Work Experience: At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in financial planning, analysis, and management. This experience should include:

Budgeting and forecasting

Financial modeling

Variance analysis

Financial reporting

Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading teams or projects, demonstrating strong leadership and management skills.

Technical Skills:

Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools

Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion)

Knowledge of data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI)

Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.

Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with various departments and stakeholders.
