Demand Planning Manager PH & VN
Primary purpose of the role:
Drive the demand management process consistent with Class A S&OP and Demand Planning Process Quality
guidelines in assigned country; provide guidance and leadership in monthly consensus cross-functional demand
meetings to support both S&OP (18-24 months) and RvsCC (5-year) processes; incorporate learnings and focus on
continuous forecasting process improvement.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the local demand planning processes, cross-functional meetings and operations for all PBUs. Ensure
- Provide guidance for and generate the total consensus SKU level forecasts (18-24 months horizon) to
- Communicate consensus plans and the assumptions behind these through the S&OP Demand Reviews
- Serve as liaison between Marketing, Sales, Product Management, Finance, Supply Planning and Customer
Service to assure that all sales forecasts are accurate; provide updated guidance as needed and
communicate back decisions on allocation to the cross-functional team.- Be well-versed and knowledgeable in forecasting and demand planning, both from business and system
perspectives. Be responsible for data maintenance, forecast data integrity, understanding of assumptions
changes and reasons to believe the forecast.- Lead the process of tracking forecast consumption; initiate weekly demand review meetings with all

- Facilitate a demand planning culture that ensures that monthly forecast submission deadlines are
- Incorporate marketing meeting outputs into the demand plan.
- Implement a methodical forecasting approach that effectively captures assumptions changes, risks and
opportunities, and uses multiple views to converge to a viable consensus demand plan. Ensure a robust
handoff to Supply Planning to promote an Advantaged Supply Chain that will ensure product availability
and optimize working capital investment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or higher level degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related degree
- 3-5 years experience in Sales, Marketing and/or Demand Planning, inclusive of 2 years solid experience in
- Knowledge in integrated supply chain systems, SAP APO DP, Excel, Powerpoint.
- Good understanding of forecast models and methods, supply chain processes and practices.
- Core skills: leadership, analysis, decision making, influencing, organizing, initiative, flexibility, tenacity,
effective communication, creativity, driving for results, buidling effective relationships with people at all
levels, driving for change/improvement. Ability to deliver under pressure.- Knowledge and expertise in business statistics preferred but not mandatory
