Education & Professional Credentials:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certifications are highly valued:
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
- CMA (Certified Management Accountant)
- ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)
Work Experience:
- At least 3–5 years of accounting/finance experience
- Experience handling:
- Financial reporting
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Tax compliance and audits
- Internal controls
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of:
- Financial statement preparation and analysis
- Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
- Advanced Excel or financial modeling skills
Leadership & Management Skills:
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Experience coordinating with auditors, executives, and other departments
Strategic & Business Skills:
- Ability to align accounting operations with business goals
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Communication Skills:
- Clear reporting to senior management
- Ability to explain financial data to non-finance stakeholders
Personal Traits:
- High integrity and ethical standards
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
