Sales Support Specialist (Freight Forwarding AU Experience)

Job Description:

• Prepare quotes for new and existing business.
• Vendor management
• Email management
• Cold calling/inside sales (and client engagement)
• Sales reporting
• Let generation experience is a plus
• Respond to ad-hoc requests from agent networks within service standards and develop and follow up on potential business opportunities.
• Liaise with service providers to source rates in support of quotes requested.
• Maintain a register of service providers and provide notification when rates expire.
• Follow up on all quotes generated.
• Follow up on quotes to record the statistical information on conversion rates.
• Updating rates in Cargowise One

Requirements:

• Graduate of Customs Administration or any related course.
• With ideally Cargowise One experience in the quote module – particularly ‘One-off quotes'
• With a minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the logistics/ freight industry, familiar with AU market.
• Commercial-orientated and proactive individual.
• Negotiating skills are required here to obtain the best possible costs.
• Knowledgeable in EDI or incoterms.
