Position Overview
The Technical Engineer is responsible for providing comprehensive engineering and technical support for Peak Fuel Corporation's Commercial and Industrial LPG business. The role covers the complete project lifecycle from customer consultation, technical site assessment, engineering design, costing, and proposal preparation to installation supervision, commissioning, maintenance, and after-sales technical support.
The Technical Engineer serves as the company's subject matter expert for centralized LPG systems, manifold installations, bulk LPG facilities, piping systems, vaporizers, and related equipment. The position works closely with the Commercial Sales Team to develop technically sound, safe, cost-effective, and customer-focused LPG solutions that comply with company standards and applicable regulatory requirements.

- Engineering Design & Technical Solutions
- Design Commercial and Industrial LPG systems including centralized LPG systems, manifold systems, bulk LPG installations, vaporizers, cylinders, regulators, and gas piping networks.
- Prepare engineering drawings, layouts, equipment specifications, and technical calculations.
- Develop safe, efficient, and cost-effective engineering solutions based on customer operational requirements.
- Recommend retrofit, expansion, and system improvement solutions for existing LPG installations.
- Site Inspection & Technical Assessment
- Conduct site inspections, technical surveys, and feasibility assessments.
- Evaluate installation requirements, piping routes, equipment locations, ventilation, safety clearances, and operational conditions.
- Prepare site inspection reports with engineering recommendations.
- Identify technical risks and propose appropriate mitigation measures.
- Costing, Bill of Materials & Proposal Support
- Prepare complete Bills of Materials (BOM) for LPG projects.
- Develop accurate project costing covering materials, labor, equipment, logistics, subcontractors, and installation requirements.
- Coordinate with Procurement and Supply Chain for material specifications and availability.
- Support the Sales Team in preparing technical proposals, quotations, and engineering documentation.
- Installation Supervision & Project Execution
- Supervise installation of Commercial and Industrial LPG systems to ensure compliance with approved engineering designs.
- Coordinate project schedules with contractors, suppliers, customers, and internal departments.
- Monitor project quality, workmanship, safety, and installation progress.
- Conduct pressure testing, leak testing, commissioning, and project turnover activities.
- Technical Audit, Maintenance & Customer Support
- Conduct technical audits and inspections of customer LPG facilities.
- Identify safety deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of LPG systems and equipment.
- Provide troubleshooting support and recommend repair, replacement, or system upgrades.
- Respond promptly to customer technical concerns and service requests.
✅ Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related field)
- 3–5 years of experience in LPG systems, industrial gas systems, mechanical piping, fuel systems or related engineering fields.
- Professional Engineer (PRC Licensed) is preferred.
- Experience in Commercial and Industrial LPG centralized systems and manifold installations is highly preferred.
- Familiar with government permits and safety certifications related to LPG installations
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Willing to do fieldwork and site visits
