Technical Engineer

Job Summary

The Technical Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and supporting technical solutions for private and government projects. The role works closely with the Sales, Technical, and Project teams. The Technical Engineer also delivers technical presentations, conducts product and solutions training, and ensures that proposed solutions meet client requirements and industry standards.

• Provide technical pre-sales support to the Channel Sales and Enterprise & Government Sales teams.
• Conduct client meetings, technical discussions, and site surveys to understand customer requirements.
• Ensure all proposed solutions comply with customer requirements, technical standards, and bid specifications.
• Deliver technical presentations, solution demonstrations, and product briefings to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct product training and technical enablement sessions for the Sales Team, channel partners, and customers.
• Prepare solution designs, network diagrams, and presentations using MS PowerPoint, Visio, and AutoCAD.
• Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQ), Bills of Materials (BOM), and technical proposals.
• Prepare Scope of Work (SOW), project implementation plans, and Gantt charts as part of project proposals.
• Review Terms of Reference (TOR), technical specifications, and compliance sheets for private and government bidding projects.
• Keep up to date with new technologies, vendor certifications, and industry best practices.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Department Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, or any related field.

• At least 2–3 years of experience in Pre-Sales Engineering, Network Engineering, Systems Integration, Telecommunications, or a related technical role.
• Experience supporting Channel Sales, Enterprise Sales, or Government Sales is an advantage.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Proficient in Microsoft Visio and/or AutoCAD.
• Able to prepare professional technical presentations, solution proposals, and network diagrams.
• Knowledge and experience in security and surveillance products such as CCTV, Wi-Fi, Two-Way radio, Access Control, time attendance, Network routers, switches, Fire Detection and Alarm System (FDAS), and public address systems. Both design and implementation.

• Good coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously.

• WFO - Monday to Saturday
• Willing to conduct client visits and site surveys.
• Willing to travel within and outside Metro Manila as required.
