- Provide expert guidance on market trends, investment opportunities, and risk mitigation tools to enhance financial resilience and performance.
- Develop and execute capital market strategies for medium-to-term funding.
- Advise on optimal capital structure and cost-effective financing instruments (e.g., bonds, loans, commercial papers).
- Advise on coordination with banks, underwriters, and external advisors on capital raising transactions in the region.
- Provide strategic oversight on cash flow forecasting, working capital optimization, and liquidity planning.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure sufficient funding coverage for operational and investment needs.
- Identify opportunities to enhance yield on idle cash and recommend short-term investment strategies.
- Track market movements, economic indicators, and regulatory changes to inform treasury and capital markets strategies.
- Assist in the assessment of the impact of interest rates, FX, and credit conditions on funding and hedging decisions.
- Support the evaluation and implementation of risk mitigation tools such as interest rate swaps, FX hedges, and other derivatives.
- Ensure compliance with internal risk limits and financial policies.
- Act as a key advisor to senior leadership on capital markets outlook and treasury-related decisions.
- Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, credit rating agencies, and capital markets participants in the region.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls related to treasury and market transactions.
- Advise on the preparation of reports, proposals, and presentations for investment committees, management, and board-level review.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; CFA, CPA, or a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 20 years of progressive leadership experience in strategic risk advisory, enterprise risk management, digital transformation, or global consulting roles.
- Strong understanding of debt capital markets, treasury operations, financial instruments, and risk management practices.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional financial initiatives and engage with external financial partners.
- Experience in corporate funding or capital markets transactions (e.g., bond issuance, syndicated loans).
- Familiarity with treasury management systems, financial modeling, and cash flow analytics.
- Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of macroeconomic and financial market dynamics.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder partnership skills.
