Area Sales Manager - North West Mindanao

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing sales operations within an assigned territory to achieve company sales targets and objectives. The role includes managing the sales team, developing market strategies, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring effective implementation of sales programs and policies.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience.

A minimum of 1-2 years of team management experience is required.

A graduate of BS Business Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or similar courses.

Agricultural industry experience is preferred but not required.

This role requires frequent regional travel throughout the North West Mindanao territory.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Achieve, close deals, and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs
  • Develop and implement area sales plans and strategies.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and motivate sales staff.
  • Conduct regular field visits and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure discipline, productivity, and proper grooming of the sales team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and distributors
  • Handle major client negotiations and conflict resolutions.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential markets.
  • Analyse competitor activities and market trends.
  • Recommend pricing, promotions, and product strategies.
  • Ensure proper product distribution, availability, and visibility.
  • Implement promotional activities and merchandising standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics/warehouse
  • Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and action plans.
  • Submit timely activity reports and market feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage area sales budget and expenses.
  • Optimise use of company resources (vehicles, tools, manpower).
