Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, project sales, lead generation, telemarketing, or a related sales-focused role
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
  • Clear, concise, and professional phone manner
  • Neutral or near-New Zealand accent preferred
  • Availability to work New Zealand business hours (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM NZT)
  • Experience conducting outbound sales and prospecting calls
  • Strong experience using HubSpot or similar CRM platforms
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work proactively and independently with minimal supervision
  • Professional presentation and communication skills
Preferred Experience
  • Experience within commercial construction, interiors, fit-outs, healthcare, or property-related industries
  • Understanding of project-based sales environments
  • Existing commercial industry contacts or networks is an advantage

Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities within the commercial construction and fit-out sectors
  • Conduct proactive outbound prospecting through telemarketing, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach
  • Research target clients, property developments, projects, and key decision-makers
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects
  • Arrange meetings and introductions for leadership and project teams
Sales & Client Engagement
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads to assess project suitability
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with prospective clients and industry contacts
  • Follow up consistently on leads, opportunities, and ongoing discussions
  • Represent the company professionally across all communications and meetings
  • Assist with capability presentations, proposals, and sales support initiatives
CRM & Administration
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM, including notes, lead stages, follow-up actions, and communication history
  • Manage pipeline activities with discipline and consistency
  • Track daily sales activities, lead generation performance, and conversion metrics
  • Ensure timely follow-up and effective time management across all sales activities
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Number of qualified leads generated monthly
  • Outbound calls and prospecting activities completed
  • Meetings booked with prospective clients
  • Pipeline growth and conversion rates
  • CRM accuracy and follow-up compliance
  • Contribution to company revenue targets
