System Support Officer for Finance

Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day technical support for accounting systems (e.g., ERP, accounting software, billing systems).
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues affecting financial transactions, reporting, and data integrity.
- Assist in system configuration, setup, and upgrades of accounting software.
- Monitor system performance and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
- Coordinate with IT and external vendors for system maintenance, enhancements, and issue resolution.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes by ensuring system readiness and data availability.
- Generate and customize financial reports based on user requirements.
- Assist in data migration, system integration, and implementation of new accounting tools.
- Maintain proper documentation of system processes, user guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Conduct user training and provide guidance on proper system usage and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and audit requirements related to system use.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within accounting systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 1–3 years of experience in accounting systems support, ERP support, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Odoo, or similar ERP systems).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of databases, system configurations, and data management is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
