About the role
We are seeking a diligent and customer-focused Cashier to join our growing team at International Marketing Group (IMG) Insurance Brokers Corp. in San Fernando City, La Union. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately processing customer transactions, maintaining a well-organised cash drawer, and providing excellent customer service.This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to be part of a dynamic retail environment.
What you'll be doing- Accurately processing customer payments, including cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment
- Balancing cash drawers at the start and end of each shift
- Handling customer inquiries and addressing any concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area to ensure a pleasant customer experience
- Assisting with inventory management and restocking duties as needed
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing cashier or retail role
- Strong mathematics and money-handling skills
- Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash register operations
