The Chief Accountant oversees financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. Key responsibilities include managing general ledger adjustments, preparing financial statements and budgets, supervising cashier funds, coordinating with government departments, and supporting the entire Finance team.The role also involves staff training, internal controls, and maintaining smooth hotel operations in line with Hilton standards.
Qualifications/Requirements- Knowledge of departmental and hotel operations.
- Knowledge of computers and training techniques;
- Full understanding of financial operating systems and procedures;
- Ability to read, write, and speak English language to communicate effectively;
- Ability to exercise judgment in evaluating situations and in making sound decisions;
- Knowledge of various computer programs, such as Word and Excel;
- Creative and innovative approach to problem solving;
- Methodical and well organized
- Relevant degree, in Finance, Accounting or related business discipline, from an academic institution
- CPA License
