Quality Manager - FOR POOLING
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. POLICY FORMATION AND IMPLEMENTATION- Develops and implements required written policies and procedures related to Quality Management System for the organization (ie IMS Manual, Policies, Procedures etc)
- Develops and implements Quality control processes (ie references, guidelines, work instructions)
- Guides other departments/divisions in the establishment of new policies, procedures and programs related to quality management and ensures that these are properly implemented
- Strategizes and champions IMS certification for the organization
- Plans and facilitates all Management System Audit (ie Internal,External and Supplier Management System Audit)
- Updates top management and other concerned department/s of pending and arising issues that may influence overall business objectives
- Monitors and evaluates Quality Improvement undertakings including ROI
- Reviews substantial content of policies, procedures and other relevant documents submitted by process owners prior to publication
- Monitors compliance to all government regulation that may impact Quality product and service and collaborates with concerned department/division
- Reports to Division Head monitoring and review activities and/or findings
- Develops and conducts Quality and other Business Management related trainings
- Prioritizes quality improvement activities, tasks and performance of staff
- Identifies continuous education/ training for employees, including the organizations’ internal auditors
- Participates in Benchmarking (BM) activities with existing business processes within the Tollway industry and other industries, as may be applicable
- Spearheads planning and implementation of business process improvements
- Monitors effective implementation of Quality Improvement initiatives including ROI
- Perform other activities that may be assigned from time to time
- Develops and conducts Business Excellence related training to organization
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Engineering graduate preferably Industrial or Management Engineering
Experience- Minimum five (5) years relevant managerial work experience in Management Systems gained in Engineering, Manufacturing and / or Service provider industries
- In-depth knowledge on Integrated Management Systems such as ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001 and other Business Excellence Management Tools such as other applicable Management Systems , , Investors in People, Philippine Quality Award, Lean, Six Sigma etc
- Fundamentals of Project Management
- External Audit (3rd party auditor) experience is an advantage Experienced trainer in Quality and other Business Management topics
- Certified Management System Lead Implementer
- Certified Management System Lead Auditor / Internal Auditor
- Certified Management System Expert is a plus
- Knows how to drive and with at least a valid non-professional driver’s license is a plus
- Computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Powerpoint, and other work related software)
- Can work well with people from all levels of the organization
- Capable of interfacing with regulatory agencies
- Strong motivation, leadership and teambuilding skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
