Mechanical engineer (general)

Job Description

• Analyze construction plans and prepare quantity requirements
• Prepare or coordinate to Third-party CM for accuracy of cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and other relevant factors.
• Prepare and review contract documents, including scope of work, conditions of contracts, and variations.
• Take accurate quantity measurements from design drawings and specifications.
• Prepare bill quantities and schedules of rates for tendering procurement purposes.
• Review and validate quantity submissions from contractors and suppliers.
• Liaise with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors
• Prepare reports, contracts, budgets, risk assessments, and other documents as required

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering,
• Preferably with 1-2 year(s) of working experience in quantity surveying within the real estate or construction industry.
• Familiarity with standard codes of MEPFS and regulations is a plus.
