Sales Account Manager (Construction)

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct sales activities including prospecting, lead generation, client presentations, product demonstrations, and closing new business opportunities.
- Develop and manage relationships with contractors, developers, architects, engineers, project owners, distributors, and other construction industry professionals.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers while actively identifying and securing new accounts.
- Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, tenders, and project specifications in coordination with internal teams.
- Monitor project pipelines and identify opportunities from project planning through completion.
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas and performance targets.
- Conduct regular client visits and site inspections to understand customer requirements and provide appropriate product or solution recommendations.
- Coordinate with technical, operations, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer concerns, inquiries, and after-sales support professionally and promptly.
- Gather market intelligence, monitor competitor activities, and identify emerging trends within the construction industry.
- Develop sales strategies to increase market share and strengthen brand presence.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, account updates, and project status reports.
- Ensure accurate documentation of customer interactions and maintain updated records in the company's CRM or sales management system.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical), Architecture, Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
Experience:
- At least 2–5 years of sales experience in the construction industry.
- Experience selling construction materials, building products, heavy equipment, engineering solutions, or related products is an advantage.
- Proven experience in Account Management and Business Development.
- Existing network within contractors, developers, consultants, architects, or construction firms is preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of construction products, project sales, and the construction industry.
- Excellent business development and account management skills.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Ability to build long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to read construction plans and project specifications is an advantage.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
- Able to work independently and under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Willing to travel for client meetings and project site visits.
- Must be amenable to work in Marikina.
