Project Head for EPC (Wind) - Quezon City

Responsible and accountable for the overall, construction, and technical workstreams of the wind, and high-voltage (HV) project portfolio, with the objective of achieving Final Investment Decision (FID) and Commercial Operation Date (COD) as per development and construction plans.
- Oversee feasibility assessments, preliminary and detailed design, scheduling, cost control, and price optimization throughout pre-construction and construction phases.
- Develop standardized project management templates, procedures, and methodologies for cash flow control.
- Coordinate with engineering teams and third-party specialists for technical studies, due diligence, and site surveys.
- Conduct CAPEX/OPEX assessments, Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) analyses, and implement cash flow monitoring to ensure budget compliance.
- Optimize preliminary designs for generation, storage, and grid interconnection in accordance with local regulations to achieve optimal LCOE.
- Manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including preparation of documentation, tender issuance, and evaluation of contractor and vendor proposals.
- Prepare and negotiate procurement and supply contracts, providing technical input to commercial and business models.
- Lead project execution strategy to ensure on-time delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including utilities, government agencies, and local communities, while managing project risks and opportunities.
- Ensure a comprehensive project handover to Operations & Maintenance (O&M) teams at COD and support the Asset Management function.
- Contribute to technical innovation, process improvement, KPI development, and standardization initiatives across projects.
- Train and mentor junior staff, manage lessons learned, and maintain updated registers and documentation for project governance.
- Report to the company's and joint venture (JV) committees, supporting investment decisions and ensuring governance compliance.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in project development, construction, or technical management, preferably in renewable energy projects (wind, HV works).
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale renewable energy projects from feasibility to COD.
- Strong knowledge of renewable energy systems (wind PV) and HV interconnection projects.
- Expertise in feasibility studies, CAPEX/OPEX assessment, LCOE analysis, and cash flow control.
- Experience in managing RFP processes, negotiating EPC/BOS contracts, and vendor management.
- Proficiency in technical design optimization, scheduling, and cost control processes.
- In-depth understanding of project lifecycle, including development, execution, and operation.
- Competence in risk management, stakeholder engagement, and resource planning.
- Familiarity with HSE standards and on-site management best practices. Implement all the HSE requirements into the projects.
- Ability to develop standardized templates, procedures, and project management methodologies.
- Experience in reporting, KPI development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including utilities, contractors, and local communities.
- Proven ability to train, mentor, and coach junior team members.
- Willingness to travel frequently for site visits and stakeholder meetings.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Frequent business travel can be expected.
