Manila - Senior Procurement Manager - Food Category

The role supports end-to-end supply chain activities by ensuring quality, cost-competitive, and timely procurement of food-related materials.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the sourcing of raw and packaging materials related to food categories, including vendor accreditation and management.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and conditions of sales with suppliers.
• Conduct quarterly bidding and booking of assigned materials; align and document results before awarding suppliers.
• Support new product and concept development through proactive sourcing initiatives.
• Evaluate supplier bids based on price, quality, delivery terms, and compliance with company policies.
• Contribute to the periodic setting of material cost projections and inflation forecasts.
• Collaborate with Planning to maintain optimal inventory levels while managing procurement costs.
• Monitor contract compliance and ensure supplier adherence to agreed terms and KPIs.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking to inform sourcing strategy and supplier development.
• Identify and lead cost-saving initiatives and strategic sourcing projects in coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Oversee vendor performance and implement vendor development and resiliency programs.
• Ensure effective procurement governance in line with departmental KPIs and business goals.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Business Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of solid experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably handling food categories in the restaurant or food manufacturing industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proven leadership and people management capabilities.
• Experience in strategic sourcing, cost reduction, and supplier relationship management.
• Proficient in procurement systems and Microsoft Office tools.
