The Sales Development Representative L1 team performs the most important function within the program. Our pipeline is our lifeline. This role is the first line of communication with all potential prospects and will be the program’s biggest advocate.
What does a day in the life of a Sales Development Representative L1 look like?- Drive market share by qualifying and delivering leads that build a pipeline for our Sales Executive team in your defined market segment.
- Proactively completes work and introduces outreach sequences that benefit the team or organization, taking full ownership and responsibility. Your entrepreneurial spirit drives you to make a positive impact.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills needed for key accounts.
- Responsible for calling into prospect accounts to generate demand for the program solutions. This team is all about activity: 70 dials a day / 5 connections per day / 7 Sales Qualified Leads (SQL) and 7 Sales Accepted Opportunity (SAO) per month.
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for the next steps.
- Represent the company’s products and services, using comprehensive knowledge and customer research to explain how our solutions meet customer needs.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Generate 7 sales accepted opportunities a month from all of the outbound activity.
- Understand what the customer needs and open an opportunity for the Sales team to prosecute.
- Maintain growth in your market area.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or at least 2 years of relevant work experience
- 2 years or more of work experience as a sales development representative, sales account executive, or similar role.
- Experience operating on CRM platforms or Salesforce.
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
- Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization.
