About the Role
We’re looking for a Cost Estimator with fire industry experience to deliver accurate and reliable project estimates for fire protection systems and related works. You’ll play a key role in analysing requirements, developing cost proposals, and supporting project teams with financial insights that ensure successful and compliant builds.
Ideal Candidate (Must Have Requirements)- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in cost estimation or quantity surveying, ideally within the fire protection, mechanical, or building services industry.
- Strong understanding of fire systems, fire suppression, or fire safety equipment components and installation costs.
- Proficiency in estimation tools, spreadsheets, and general office software.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and meet deadlines.
- Able to work in our Cebu/Davao Sites.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and fire protection layouts to determine scope and requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for labour, materials, equipment, and installation.
- Analyse supplier and subcontractor quotes for fire system components.
- Maintain accurate and updated cost databases for past projects and current market pricing.
- Identify potential risks, cost variances, and opportunities for value engineering.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project objectives.
- Support tender preparation, proposals, and budget submissions.
- Provide ongoing cost monitoring and variance analysis during project execution.
