About the Role:
- Our client, a leading IT distributor sector, is currently looking for aCountry Managerto lead its Cisco Business Unit in the Philippines. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of Cisco Technology and can build good rapport with the Vendors, Partners, and Internal Shared Resources. In this role, you will lead and manage the sales team to ensure business stability, growth, and provide a predictable environment for the business unit. Match accounts and activities with these channel partners to build a pipeline using the range of Cisco products. Also, Co-visit with the partners sales representative to sell our Cisco solution to the end users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve the revenue and profit target.
- Promote complementary vendors within the Cisco practice.
- Own and drive the Channel Development Plan.
- Lead the Cisco team with sales and technical activities.
- Engage with the vendor's Account/Channel managers on the development of channel relationships.
- Build strategic relationships with relevant vendors staff and senior management team.
- Promote services practice for the Cisco business.
- Provide coaching to the reseller sales representative on the Cisco solution.
- Work with the team to align vendors and channel partners objectives.
- Drive vendors sales through Tier-2 resellers and ATP partners.
- Maintain exceptional customer service and consistently strive to exceed customer expectations.
- Ensure punctuality to all internal and external meetings.
- Meet all reporting deadlines, including pipeline reports.
- Meet appropriate quarterly MBOs.
- Growing the regional numbers and attainment of GP targets, driving consistency of programs, executing program rollout across the region, and Alignment of regional strategies.
- Acting as the link between Cisco ASEAN and client ASEAN.
- Work with regional teams to align with the vendor's objectives.
Qualifications:
- A proven track record ofat least 5 years related Country Manager role.
- A strong background in the IT Distribution industry, particularly with well-established brands.
- Technology understanding strong understanding of networking, security, voice, and server and storage solutions.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Experience in managing relationships with large vendors and channel partners.
- Understanding of the Channel model.
- Strong sales background with the ability to build relationships at senior and strategic levels.
- Business management skills.
- Management and mentoring of staff.
- Excellent Presentation skills.
- Business Planning and Strategy skills.
- Tender and Proposal writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships quickly and effectively.
- Good attention to detail and follow-up.
