Mental Health Nurse

As a Remote Mental Health Nurse Coordinator, you will oversee patient care plans and ensure clinical services are delivered effectively. You will combine nursing expertise with administrative coordination to evaluate patient progress, consult with providers, and manage the logistics of telepsychiatry treatment.

• Provide empathetic emotional support and reassurance to patients throughout their mental health treatment.
• Collaborate with patients to develop personalized care plans and advocate for their rights and interests.
• Conduct regular check-ins to evaluate progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation and doctor schedules.
• Help patients navigate telepsychiatry platforms and provide education on mental health conditions and treatments.
• Facilitate scheduling and follow-ups between patients and providers, ensuring timely care and minimal wait times.
• Handle billing inquiries, insurance/claims assistance, and the rescheduling of appointments as needed.
• Provide feedback to management on clinical workflows and patient care delivery.

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Psychology, Pharmacy or Healthcare Administration.
• 5+ years in a patient coordinator or clinical nursing role; remote experience preferred.
• C1-level English (written/verbal) and strong interpersonal skills for compassionate, diverse patient interaction.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and strong organizational skills for detailed documentation.
• Strong understanding of mental health conditions and treatment modalities.
• Shift: 9 AM – 6 PM EST (Mon–Fri or Sun–Thu).
