Technical Deployment Engineer | Work from Office

We're Hiring: Technical Deployment Engineer!

We are currently on the lookout for a Technical Deployment Engineer to join our team at Cloudstaff, the #1 workplace everywhere!

Schedule: Night shift

Job Description:

• Collaborate with Installers and Project Managers on the network implementation of new installations or deployments
• Address concerns of newly onboarded properties during installation
• Perform Post Install Checks (PIC) and follow up with installers on any missing or failed items
• Monitor and ensure the completion of PICs. Identify any training or installation processes that need to be covered or changes that need to be made
• Ensure all tools are available and accessible for property staff
• Work with Field Technicians to troubleshoot installation-related issues
• Coordinate and schedule training with property staff for Site Dashboard and Conference Tool (if applicable) and provide Splash Page orientation
• Ensure all devices are set up and monitored in the NMS

Qualification and requirements:

• 2 years of hands-on experience with Networking
• Should have experience in switching
• Proficiency in configuring Layer 2 devices (e.g., VLANs, WLANs)
• Layer 2 support experience
• Ability to subnet in Layer 3
• Experience with satellite television (preferred but not required)
• CCNA certification
• Meraki ECMS Certification (mandatory upon hiring, so far free)
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in a relevant field is a plus
• Proven experience in a NOC or technical support role, preferably in managed Wi-Fi or satellite television
• Strong understanding of networking principles, protocols, and satellite communication systems
• Network+ (Net+) certification is a plus
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

Non-negotiable skills & requirements:

• Proven experience in a NOC or technical support role, preferably in the managed wi-fi or satellite television space
• Layer 2 support experience
• Cisco/Meraki expertise
• CCNA certification
