Transmission Line Design Engineer (Civil Engineer with PLS Tower experience)
- Independent technical assignments for Transmission line projects (planning, basic design, detail design, design review, calculations, specifications, reports, etc.)
- Advanced proficiency in PLS Tower software for tower modeling and analysis.
- In-depth understanding of Transmission Tower design and structural engineering principles.
- Proficiency in preparing loading diagrams and performing load analysis.
- Ability to trouble shoot and resolve design issues arise during modeling and analysis process.
- Coordination of Transmission line design between the Philippines and client countries inside AFRY
- Civil Engineer with at least 2 years PLS Tower Design experience
- Familiarity with international codes and standards used in transmission line design (eg., IEC, ASCE, AISC,NESC, IEEE) for transmission line tower design.
- Knowledge of foundation types (eg., piles, pad and chimney,etc.) and their appropriate application in transmission tower design.
- Ability to travel outside the Philippines
