Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading publishing company and retailer. Our client is looking for a Marketing Officer to support the development and execution of market-specific marketing strategies that drive growth across both institutional and retail segments.
This is a full onsite role based at the Quezon City head office.
Marketing Officer
Role Overview
The Marketing Officer plays a key role in developing and executing targeted marketing strategies aligned with the overall direction set by the Corporate Marketing Manager, General Manager, and Business Unit Head.This role works closely with Institutional and Retail Sales teams, including affiliates and subsidiaries, to ensure that marketing initiatives effectively drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth across assigned market verticals.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Consistency & Positioning- Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all marketing channels within the assigned market
- Strengthen brand image and support public relations initiatives
- Utilize customer data, market research, and competitive analysis to identify trends, preferences, and opportunities
- Analyze campaign performance and provide insights to improve future marketing initiatives
- Segment markets based on potential, customer profiles, and key drivers
- Develop and implement targeted, multi-channel marketing campaigns aligned with overall strategy
- Maximize digital platforms to improve reach and engagement
- Collaborate closely with internal teams for campaign development
- Design and implement customer engagement and retention programs
- Leverage customer journey frameworks to enhance loyalty initiatives
- Support Institutional and Retail Sales teams with tailored marketing programs
- Work with other Marketing Officers to align messaging and consolidate initiatives
- Develop marketing plans aligned with corporate and business unit objectives
- Establish KPIs and monitor marketing performance
- Track and evaluate campaigns, providing actionable insights
- Recommend improvements based on performance data
- Build and manage partnerships for co-branding and marketing initiatives
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for strategic collaborations
- Manage marketing budgets and ensure efficient use of resources
- Monitor ROI and cost-to-sales ratios
- Recommend and utilize marketing technologies to improve execution
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in marketing, preferably in publishing, retail, or FMCG
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, consumer behavior, and campaign execution
- Experience in digital marketing and multi-channel campaigns is an advantage
- Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
