In this role, you will gain hands‑on exposure to L2 operations, building a deep understanding of real‑world processes from the ground up. On‑desk experience is essential—you’ll learn how things truly work before transforming them. Using these insights, you will design and develop intelligent automation solutions that progressively evolve Service Desk/L1/L2 into a fully agentic, AI‑driven model—our ultimate vision.
By being directly involved in day‑to‑day operations, you’ll be empowered to create smarter, more effective automation that solves real problems, delivers measurable impact, and drives innovation at scale.
- You will work in the operations and application support team, ticket management, vendor coordination, and call handling. Resolves issue collaboration, and add value through participation in peer code reviews, provide comments and suggestions, and work with cross functional teams to achieve goals. With this, shifting schedule is needed – during deployment etc., and on-call support in rotation as required.
- You will design, develop, modify, debug and/or maintain software code according to functional, non-functional, and technical design specifications.
- You will follow Amdocs software engineering standards, applicable software development methodology and release processes, to ensure code is maintainable, scalable, and supportable, and demo the software products to stakeholders.
- You will investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code, provide fixes and workarounds, and review changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions.
- You will assume technical accountability for your specific work products within an application and provide technical support during solution design for new requirements.
- You will be encouraged to actively look for innovation, continuous improvement, and efficiency in all assigned tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree holder in any Computer Science, Engineering, and IT-related field.
- 2+ yrs. to 6 yrs. of relevant work experience as SW Engineer/developer.
- Working knowledge and/or experience in programming languages like JAVA, Python, React, Unix, SQL, Shell/ Perl Scripting.
- Technical Experience on Python, Cloud, AWS, Automation, GenAI, Database.
- Good-to-have technical skills: MERN, CI/CD, Gitlab, confluence, Grafana, JIRA, Oracle, postgres, ArgoCD, CI/CD, Confluence, Docker, GCP, Gitlab, GitOps, Grafana, Gsuite, InfluxDB, JIRA, Kubernetes, Mongo.
- Knowledge in Software Development Life Cycle.
- Preferably with Telecommunications background and experience
- Willing to work on shifting/rotational schedule.
- Willing to work on a Dayshift, Hybrid set up (3x per week) in BGC, Taguig City
- Available for Local Hiring only (Philippines).
