Summary:
The General Admin Assistant should provide day-to-day administrative support to ensure smooth & efficient operation of the business. Must be highly organized and detail-oriented in handling routine admin tasks, business records & communication.Provides support/assistance in managing day-to-day logistics, warranty processing, spare parts dispatch, and light bookkeeping tasks. We are seeking a candidate who excels in a dynamic environment, is comfortable engaging with Australian customers, and takes initiative in managing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to the team and management.
- Supports in any inventory-related tasks (e.g. processing orders, tracking deliveries) across different state warehouses through an inventory management system.
- Assist with data entry, updating of business records, document preparation, reporting and filling up systems.
- Manage emails and correspondence to customers, suppliers and team members in a timely manner.
- Prepare basic financial and inventory reports, invoices, and documentation as required.
- Serves as a contact for warranty claims via email or phone and manage dispatch of spare parts with follow through as needed.
- Maintain professionalism on every customer interaction.
- Assist in basic bookkeeping tasks.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative support role preferred.
- Strong organizational and management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with Xero and Unleashed preferred.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
- A proactive and reliable approach to work.
