About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper with strong Xero experience to support an Australian-based business. This is a remote position based in the Philippines.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced bookkeeper looking for a long-term, flexible role working with an international client.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using Xero
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and financial transactions
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist with invoicing and payment tracking
- Prepare financial reports for management
- Support month-end reconciliation processes
- Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues
- Maintain organized financial documentation
- Proven bookkeeping experience
- Strong experience using Xero (essential)
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Experience working with Australian businesses or Australian accounting practices is highly desirable
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Reliable internet connection and work-from-home setup
- Full time, Australian hours (Currently 2 hour time difference)
- Experience with Australian BAS or GST processes
- Familiarity with other accounting or finance tools
- Previous experience supporting international clients
